ICO2S Special Session

Intelligent control and optimization in smart systems

Download the Call For Paper

The systems developed under the concept of Smart Cities aims to apply new technologies to obtain sustainable economic development and provide better quality of life by using information and communication technologies. Cities are increasingly turning towards specialized technologies to address issues related to Smart Economy, Smart People, Smart Governance, Smart Mobility, Smart Environment, and Smart Living. The emerging concept of Smart Cities highly encourages this prospect by promoting the incorporation of artificial intelligence, sensors and Big Data through the Internet of Things (IoT).

A Smart City (or digital city) uses telecommunications networks infrastructures (WIFI, 3G, 4G, VANET, …) for automation control of remote sensors devices in order to improve the quality of life inside cities by efficient management of cities infrastructures in terms of intelligent transportation, smart grid, health care and housing.

This session aims to gather researchers and practitioners in order to share experiences and ideas on innovative developments of smart city concepts including Smart Mobility, Smart Grid, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and Intelligent Data Analysis.

Only PDF files will be accepted for the review process and all submissions must be done through EDAS online submission system:
